| sorry it has been such a looong time!
anyway there is much to tell! things in japan have been nice here. recently i have been super busy with different things. my private tutoring, basketball, my japanese lesson, school crap, and just hanging out. but busy is good! i can't complain!
i had my friend brian come visit recently. we had met in our kobe recontracting seminar. he used to play ninjas and is from san jose. what a small world huh? anyway him and two of his friends came. luke and i hung out with them for a little maple leaf sightseeing and some good dinners. okonomiyaki and shabu shabu kyoto style!
this week we have a lame midyear seminar. it is sooo boring and cold! they are torturing us with no heat! it is sad....so sad. i am kinda anxious because i have to give a presentation about motivation in like 8 and a half hours. i haven't spoken in front of people who can understand me for a long time...haha a large group of people that is not japanese!
it was sweet this past weekend. many friends took me out to a nice bday dinner. it was filled with some good food and nice company. and it was awesome. my mom baked me a cake and sent it to me!my mom is one of the most thoughtful people. and luke was so nice and sweet today. he woke up and made me breakfast...a carmel machiatto....and bagel. and after our seminar him, helen and i went to a restaurant i picked. then i dragged him to the post office so i could get the package my mom sent. then he is going to wake up early with me so i can prepare for my presentation. i am such a lucky girl!
i am looking forward to our day off for thanksgiving or their labor day. wither way i am thankful. at some point luke and i will try to make a thanksgiving feast. we will see how that goes...haha!
anyway i miss you all so much! i can't wait till i come home on the 24th!

| hi hi
i am at school after a long weekend. i had to work saturday but got compensated on tues (yesterday). so it is a short week! the weekend was good. i went to JJ's, a amusement center. there are different floors with tons of things such as: pool, video games, karaoke, internet, bowling....and the list goes on. needless to say it was fun. then i also went to kobe for the day on sunday. it was a great day filled with lots of food and shopping. we walked through the chinatown and german festival. got some german sausage and luke got some non japanese beer. monday was filled with zzzzzzzzzzz and an OC fix. and yesterday was nice! i got my first facial here in japan! not so expensive and the lady did a great job! she even put a little make up on me afterwards...i am def going back!
i hope everyone enjoyed their 3 day weekends as well. is the weather nice at home? it's pretty awesome here now. got all the new seasonal things here and the weather is perfect! low 70's that's kinda sunny and the air is crisp! no more humid shit! but yup fall seasonal things include a lot of marron things (chestnut flavored) and lots of maple leaves. the new kit kat is maple flavored.

| sorry i haven't written in awhile! just been a little busy ummm sooo yaaa i have a new boyfriend! so i have been a little distracted!
today is sports day here at school. i am wearing my bright green and yellow puma pants....going for the jamacian theme! the weather is cooling down so it`s kinda nice! gonna go watch the kids do their events today. kinda fun to watch them do relay races, sprints, and obstacle course(they eat bread!).
have a 3 day holiday this weekend but it sucks that i have to work on saturday. i have another JHS thing. i get tuesday off in compensation though. i think we are doing different tongue twisters!
tomorrow i am going to buy an electronic japanese/english dictionary! haha and also a cordless hair straightner! lol it will help since there are no electric outlets in the bathrooms!
and tomorrow i am looking forward to going to hagan daaz! they are having a special 5 scoop ice cream on the 5th, 15th and 25th! haha so tom is the 5th and i am a lucky girl that luke luvs ice cream too! | | |
| i wish there were such a thing called nap rooms! with fluffy pillows and soft, cushy and plump matresses! awww i want a nap! that would be my number wish at the moment! anyway i am at school chilling with jane and dave again. i have no more classes today because the kids are preparing for their school festival. they have to do performances and one day they will cook h\and have food stands. i already have a ticket for yakitori chicken and gyoza!
this past weekend was nice. i went to osaka with luke to meet up with my friend megumi. we talked a bit with megumi and then shopped. it is way too crazy and crowded there! not my ideal day of shopping! but what made up for it was the mexican food we had! it was quite delicious! prob the most authentic mex food you can get here!
yest was jane`s bday! so we went out to dinner and ice cream for her. the weekend was quite relaxing and fun!
looking forward to another good week! it`s pretty chill since it`s school festival stuff all week! not a regular schedule and we get to watch the students at a venue later this week! so no teaching! then i have dave`s welcome enkai (so expensive tho!) and another ball tournament! plus it`s a 3 day weekend! and i am looking forward to spending lots of time with luke | | |
